JONAH YABUT

Coach Jonah is a local James Logan High School Alumni. During his time at Logan, he was a 3 year varsity player playing multiple positions from Defensive Specialist to Outside Hitter to Setter until finally making his way to the Libero position his senior year.

During his sophomore and junior year, he helped lead the Colts to the North Coast Section Finals. In his senior year, he led his team in digs and helped the group to an undefeated season in the short amount of games they played.

As for club season, Coach Jonah played on UC ELITE 18 Randell. During his time with UC ELITE, he helped the team win their first bid to the Boys Junior National Championship, making it the first bid for the UC ELITE Boys Program.

Although Coach Jonah is not playing anymore, he has brought his volleyball experience and mentality back to UC ELITE where he is continuing his coaching career. He has coached for various clubs around the Bay Area and recently earned an Open Division Bid to the Boys Junior National Championship.

Going into the 2022-2023 club season, Coach Jonah will be returning to UC ELITE for his second season as head coach of Boys - 15 Jonah, Girls - 15 Jonah and 17 Jonah.
